- 1974 Developed basic Torca clamping concept and
initial processes
- 1974 - 1976 Refined initial innovative concept for
specific use in heavy/medium duty truck as TorcTite WideBand product
- 1976 - 1981 Added four generations of value
improvement and cost saving to original TorcTite product - achieved dominant
market position
- 1982 Responded to Heavy Truck market with Mounting
clamp - initiated UniStrap
- 1983 Initiated development AccuSeal automotive
joining product, developed and supplied 1st UniStrap clamp product for
automotive suspension assembly
- 1984 Acquired 13 acres of property in Auburn Hills,
MI, built headquarters and plant
- 1985 Executed on commitment to Quality - achieved
Ford Q-1 Preferred status
- 1986 Researched, developed and introduced EasySeal
WideBand exhaust clamp for heavy/medium truck aftermarket
- 1987 Initiated supply of UniStrap mounting product
for Heavy /Medium Truck OEMs
- 1988 Acquired outside tooling source, integrated
into growing manufacturing presence
- 1988 Initiated supply of AccuSeal automotive
exhaust joining clamp in North America OEM
- 1989 Established European presence - opened TORCA

- 1994 Expanded Auburn Hills, MI facility by 35,000
